EMPLOYMENT SERVICES ELGIN

Provides FREE access to services and support for job seeking adults/youth/ students. We offer:

• Employment Counselling.
• Workshops - Resume writing, Interview Preparation, Job Safety, Job Maintenance, Job Search Strategies, Labour Market Information.
• Information & Referral Services -access to job postings, job banks, internet/fax/photocopier.
• Access to the hidden job market and Job Developers including Government Subsidized programs.
• Employer Services - prescreening, Interview space, local labour market information.
• Student Outreach in High Schools & Summer Job Services.

EMPLOYER SERVICES

Enhanced recruiting services, prescreening of resumes, distribution and collection of applications, interview & meeting space available, access to government programs and training dollars for apprenticeship. Testing of employees – aptitude, essentials skills, job readiness. Services are Free.
