WEST ELGIN TRANSPORTATION NETWORK
Employment Services Elgin co-ordinates transportation services for the West Elgin Transportation Network. Clients are billed monthly - fare based on 25 cents per kilometer.

Provide supports to adult persons with developmental disabilities.

ELGIN-OXFORD LEGAL CLINIC      1-866-611-2311
Offers free legal services to those who financially qualify in Elgin and Oxford Counties. Assistance is offered in the following areas of law: Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program, Employment Insurance, Landlord and Tenant Matters, Criminal Injuries Compensation, Canada Pension Plan and Powers of Attorney.

24 hour police service, crime prevention seminars and information available upon request at St. Thomas Detachment, 631-2920.

QUAD COUNTY SUPPORT SERVICES       519-693-4812
Provides a resource centre, community employment options, residential services (both supported and independent living and an associate family program for adults with a developmental disability).

VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN SERVICES     1-800-265-4305
Counselling for women 16 years of age or older who have been abused in an intimate or dependent relationship and for women who have been sexually abused as an adult or in childhood. Counselling is free and confidential.

YWCA of St. Thomas-Elgin     519-768-0020 Kellie Lilley
Provides programs for women, children and families. Programs range from a homework club, adult tutoring, summer day camp, child safety programs and recreational programs for all ages.

The office is also responsible for arranging bookings for non-profit organizations approved by the Municipality of West Elgin.
